Andreannia Johnson Bush, is a Philadelphia Pennsylvania native and isa graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School,where she was FBLA President. Mrs. Bush received her undergraduate degree from University of Mobile in English and Philosophy Studies. Andreannia is presently in the Master of Liberal Arts program at Springhill College in Mobile, Alabama. Andreannia is a local author, Lupus Advocate, and founder of Hats and Heels, Inc. Currently, Andreannia serves as a Patient Support Group Facilitator for the LFAMid-South Chapter.
Andreannia founded Hats and Heels, Inc., in 2010. She was inspired out of desperation to find ways to cope and live a productive life with this cruel, mysterious disease. Through Andreannia’s work with Hats and Heels, Inc., She has built partnerships with The Lupus Foundation of America Mid-South Chapter, Life South Community Blood Centers, The Fuse Project, Kingdom Covenant Connections, and numerous other Organizations. Her work with Lupus Awareness in the community, Strutting 4 A Cure, “Living with Lupus and fighting together,” earned Hats and Heels, Inc., a 2015 Proclamation recognizing May as Lupus Awareness month in the City of Mobile, Alabama, and “Living with Lupus,” earned HHI, a 2016 Certificate of Appreciation for their hard work and dedication of spreading Lupus awareness in the Community by the city’s Mayor.
Andreannia is a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, where she serves on the Women Ministry. Andreannia is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and a member of Heart and Soul Book Club. Andreannia’s hobbies are Reading and studying God’s word, Writing, Swimming, biking, and listening to different genres of Music. Andreannia lives in Mobile with her husband of 20 years, Jefferey L. Bush, and their son Kendrick K. Johnson, and their dog Boe.
